Silent night

a hallway and a closed door
nothing less and nothing more
covered door with frosty hoar

curtly a door opened wide
strange angry people decide
busted suitcase tossed outside

she picks up her brown luggage
the weight of empty baggage
her mate on unknown passage

not a single word spoken
not a sign or a token
her sad heart and soul broken

one girl left behind alone
one suitcase she calls her own
homelessness will be her throne

flames of her candle quenched
her injured heart badly wrenched
the most intense pain entrenched

it is an appalling shame
Christmas Eve only a name
it will never be the same

Something went wrong while re-editing ... so posting it again. Apologize..

Sad, but life gives both ..... I feel beauty is fully enjoyed only if there is an occasional taste of ugliness ... Nice write , enjoyed. Love, Mehnaz...
