Punishing Heat

The days are filled with punishing heat
here in desert California. For weeks the
temperatures have seared us in the 90s
approaching over 100 for the end weeks
of September in Long Beach.

Our troupers are used to the sun not cooling
down until after October, but it looks like
this year will be different. After more
scourging heat, a cooling trend will come
in mid to late October.

Finally a promise of relief. So make
yourselves ready young gools and goblins
bags for candy in hand and costumes ablaze
to enjoy the pleasant weather on this
spooky holiday before us.
