Poet's Notes

Hello everyone!

This poem was written on November 4, 2013 at 1:35 am. This poem was written after falling back into an addiction I have been trying to fight with God's help. This poem is my cry for help, my cry for salvation after thousands and thousands of failed attempts for freedom. I have said this time and time again, I have promised this time and time again, but this poem marks the last and final I will give into temptation and fall victim to my addictions. Please, if you do not mind, would you please pray for me? Thank you so very much. I am praying for you. May God bless you always.

Thank you sincerely for your beautiful generosity and support. It truly means so very much to me. You are loved. You are perfect. You are beautiful. You are loved! God loves you! May God bless you always!

With love and blessings,
Kevin C. Martin

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior" John 3:16-17, Good News Translation.

May God bless you always!

I pray to God,
Here and now,
That will be the final addiction I repeat.
Here and now,
Save me now;
You are all I need!
Change me,
Save me,
Forgive me.

    ....When they seek ME with All their heart ~ I remember over dosing at a high school dance back during the Autumn of 1976. I woke up atop a stretcher surrounded by a wall of cheering teenagers; I waved while covered in my own blood; having fell into a wall; then passing back out ~ Waking back at home in my bed after they had pumped my stomach and stitched my eye. A year into my youth's use of drugs and the first time my parents knew of such ? Telling my mother I felt as living in a house without a heart ~ Afore the years passed by and I realized, what was inside of humanity ? Hang in there. Love, John

    Hello Johnny! Thank you so very much for sharing your story. I truly appreciate it. I am so sorry for the experience you have shared and all of the hardships that have came your way, but God uses the tough times for good, helping us to grow. Your testimony inspires me in that maybe, with God, my addiction to gay pornography, which this poem is about, will be abolished. Thank you Johnny. Please contact me if you ever need or want to talk. May God bless you always! Love, Kevin
