Not my Song-U2

            Yesterday I spent asleep
            no line on the horizon
and it's been all over you

A drowning sorrow floods the deepest grief
I wanna tear down the walls that hold me inside
you can make me perfect again

            And you give yourself away
and i miss you when you're not around
and it's you when I dont pick up the phone
Oh cant you see what love has done?

            And I can breathe
            after that and ever after
all this you can leave behind
            and no one gets hurt

'Cause tonight we can be as one
we're one but we're not the same
Oh cant you see what love has done?

You can make me perfect again
and if the night runs over
then all the colors will bleed into one

U2 songs I used:

Cedars Of Lebanon
No Line On The Horizon
Beautiful Day
Saints Are Coming
Where The Streets Have No Name
All Because of You
With Or Without You
City Of Blinding Lights
Sometimes You Can't Make it On Your Own
Window in the Skies
Walk On
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Window in the Skies
All Because of You
Stuck In A Moment
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

Nice, if not a bit incoherent. I do like this idea though. I did one with a number of lines from John Denver songs. I do like U2, and did a poem titled: Under a blood red sky.

I sounded kind of weird in my head, as I was singing some of the lines as I read this. Really cool how you did a mash up of these U2 songs! I changed my first 2 stanzas. It still needs work, but it was the most I can do, I finished around 5am, yup sleeping at sunrise yet again. It still feels kinda weird, still haven't found what I'm looking for. Only pass by if you have the time pls, no pressure at all, just wanted to let you know, in case you got curious. Thank you again, but have to go now.
