My Tumble weed

Oh how the love of this earth
has filled mine heart with joy,
and how sad it is to know that,
my life will soon;
all together end

…and she asked;
“My dear friend, why so soon?”

“My precious flower, my tumble weed”,
I quickly did reply;
“A hundred years, even two, would never
you see…
I have ‘lil Noah,
Butter Cups,
and sundry rainbows
which I have never seen

Adding up my fingers and toes
was hard enough to do

And now my precious flower,
my tumble weed…

    Such a beautiful verse James, I am so glad Noah has a dad like you and wish every little boy had one. And the tumble weed part lends a lovely way to describe that special someone. Hope it is all true. Love Elizabeth P S Need you to send your email again, all was lost with the hard drive problem. Can you do?

    Sweet James, we never really know how much time we have left. Just keep giving Noah the upbringing he deserves. He may not have you forever, but he has you now and will remember all the special moments you spend with him. Such a lovely poem that clearly shows your love and concern for Noah. Love you, Carolyn
