MY treasury

after forty years in a trusted storage
stowed away in that far afield home in Berlin
regularly and continuously replenished
with carefully written and read stories without ignorance

a rusty antique- looking metal box
with its damaged corroded lock
replaced by an almost worn through rope
holding a huge content that shocks

the greatest possible shift
from an angel now in heaven
my lost but so touchable history
the most desirable and ultimate gift

I can feel my old paper sheets
I can read my very own words
I can learn about my own past
I can fulfill ALL my ultimate needs
