My midsummer night's dream

My midsummer night's dream

I assumed I was having a silent tranquil evening
just watching the cosy fire and the babbling fountain
until this late almost midnight moment on a sultry summer night
I sensed an invisible entity embracing me

the comforting ceiling of fluffiest clouds sailing slowly
on a soft breeze painting impressive pictures in white
the choir of several birds chatting and singing soothing songs endlessly
the enlightening silver long bodied dots painting sky-wide soft pink tails

the fire in the glass table-stove did not show just her warmest flame
I noticed multidimensional colors between red and orange
in every single burning frame building up and tearing down
until the appearance of heartwarming angel leaning against the heated glass
letting her light shine on this remarkable day

in an eyewink my loneliness completely vanished
in an eyewink the awareness of a heartfelt loss banished
in an eyewink briefly lost warmth from heaven vanquished
