Morning Breaks

Mesmerizing shafts of light
Overtly dart and split the night,
Resplendent through the forest air -
Never still, its blinding glare
Instills all life with
Newborn hope - another day and
Grace to cope.

Before nighttime's blanket slips
Retreating ever to the west,
Eternity will wink and know
Another day must come and go
Keeping what has always been,
So still, it all begins again.

A beautiful poem, Craig! The words flow so effortlessly here, which is always a challenge when writing an acrostic. This should place very well! Good luck to you!
