Last night we argued

Last night, we argued

Last night we had a quarrel
She brought back all my past
It was so many years ago
But the memories still last
I betrayed my one and only
And took away her trust
And so she brought it back to me
Her tone filled with disgust.

The guilt, it was too much for me
Oh I was angry then
We had a massive altercation
As it all came out again
I was so defensive
Against all of her wrath
It makes me feel so very bad
When we stroll along this path.

It’s now the morning hour
My mood has dissipated
Gone are my excuses
This thing ‘I’ had created
She had her rights
And Karma must be done
I had earned my lady’s anger
I had been the evil one.

Cuz, a very delicate subject here I feel, so many emotions all in one poem, a woman scorned eh, I,m sure many of us can relate to this ? X
