Keep Safe My Love

At evenings ebb in candle glow
My savior hear my poignant wish.
This chain that wraps my grieving heart
Drowns my faith - enslaves my soul.
Keep safe my love, the warmth I've missed.
Beseech thee Lord, while we're apart.

A wonderful prayer. Thanks for your collage contest it inspired me. I wrote a poem but it doesn't comply to the rules so I haven't entered it. I thought you might still enjoy reading it. Have a good day Craig.
