It's Only A Memory

You said you loved me,
But I think It's time you owed me.

You used to call me the 'worlds most bling thing',
You promised you would buy me that diamond ring.

What about all those messages you were sending?
More like "I've got to keep pretending".

You used to hit me with the most wonderful words when I felt empty,
But how was I to know it could never be?

You used to say "For you I'd die",
How foolish was I?
All those words were a lie.
