In Gratitude I Bow

In silence and in prayer.................
_______________________________
For those who gave everything
and never failed to protect
for those who left loved ones
and tried hard not to look back
for those who made it home
and for those who's spirits flew on...
For you my hat is off in Gratitude
I thank God for people like you..
I remember with thanksgiving
in painful facets from within
each man and women
who fought for this country
until the bitter end..
Come home my proud soldiers
come home once again
come home my mighty soldiers
come home to mend...
In Gratitude I bow...
