If I Could

If I could walk again
After standing next to you
And never leave your side
And I would say to you…
If I could talk again
After seeing you
I would say these words to you
We were meant to be as one you see
Today and evermore and
If I could see again
After touching you
I would look into your eyes
And I would kiss your soul
And never let you go
If you could breathe again
After kissing me
I would breathe in all the air
And I would hold your hand
And probably start to cry
If I could live again after you fade away
I would dream of you
And wait for your return
Or die a lonely man
In search of other gold

beautiful poem, well written. In such a windy and snowy day, reading this piece just completes my relaxation. What a poem!
