I never shed a tear

For days of darkness spent
in a sense alone in here
For all the time thats passed
I never shed a tear

Tens of hundreds of bare feet
working on this ground
scratched and bloodied bodies
no family to be found

Pushed into a building
forced to stand in line
spirits broken into pieces
but no ones breaking mine

dragging those around
those who dare to speak
Hurting all, killing most
its made the group so weak

unspeakable acts performed
unforgettable all the same
they owned the air we breathed
but didnt know our names

We all became a number
we all became a ghost
We all missed all we came with
but we missed our family most

Finally a day came
when those left were let free
free to heal from this hell
and one of those was me.

my eyes still sometimes cloud
with water from the pain
but water it remains,
for tears tie to my name

and since I had no name
I shall not give them part
of any of my tears
or any of my heart.
