i dont know
i dont know
I look through this glass to world that's distorted,
a world that's been twisted, and turned, and contorted.
Two directions, both opposing, and rivaling forces,
two directions with footholds, in all that destroy us.
The morning, the dawn,
the spring and the fall,
the love that keeps thriving, and seeps through the fog,
fogs that obscure, leech and deceive,
of different gods and the reality we see.
To speak to another, in different voices,
and try to understand, what's really important.
Lack of understanding, with syllables and phrases,
always forgetting each others faces.
From eyes to nose, and all between,
lacking the difference between the cause and the dream.
Whats really important,
the only thing that matters,
to keep on enjoying,
all that has kept us in tatters,
ignorance and lies, thoughts half derived,
from all that doesn't matter, that we keep hanging inside.
So lay down your difference,
and show me the repentance,
give me something, something else to believe in.
Whether it's deep, dark, and shallow,
or light and abundant,
I never want to hear, that we don't give enough.
