Inherently evil the nature of man,
He'd sooner spit on you than lead a hand.
Learning from past mistakes,
That life offers no one any breaks
children hunger for food and love,
But some just survive with a cruel shove.
A world says I love you by offering pain,
Fodder for humanity and the clinicly insane.
Outstretched arms but secret agendas,
Promising a miracle just because...
To watch you fall to see if you bounce,
Delivering you to a God they denounce.
Homelessness rampid no one cares,
All they get in return are blank stares.
Preying mantas the ways of man,
Eating each other after services began.
Every man for themselves, as angels weep,
Ignorance of life to help you sleep.
Then when others treat you like sh!t,
Wondering what you've done to deserve it.

A very good write, nicely penned. Yes there is a lot wrong with the world but there are many good people there also, we just have to read the works of our fellow poets here to see that. I love the passion in your poem and rhythm. Well done.
