Hopscotch-Losing Balance


end av if he fe me re ho nt fe na Sa me Chalk on pavement where ingenuity tossed the last stone | | | 9 | | | | | While hope still hops between lines of restrained margins | | | | 7 | 8 | | | | | | | skipping over memories the fear of bouncing out or fall | | | 6 | | | | | For skills can't recognize patterns of a different reality | | | | 4 | 5 | | | | | | | to discover the unforeseeable form of sin in sameness | | | 3 | | | | | Lost luck in time of empty places | | | 2 | | | | | to play life in a sequence of walls | | | 1 | | | | | Last stone on floor supports a dream

    Well, this is just awesome, Ruben !! Very, very original and I would have put it higher in Christopher's contest ... smile ... however congratulations are in order on this great write! I have a poem called Hopscotch here also but its not anywhere near as clever as this one ... did you ever really play?

    Congratulations on your honorable mention in the contest. This poem is so creative, I do not know much about abstract art but learning to love it. My best fried loves Picasso's abstracts, when we go to the art gallery,she will say "lets go see my Picasso's" (ha ha) Anyways it must have taken you some time to do this and it is truly wonderful and I love the quote

    I am awestruck! This is brilliant! I love the line from Picasso and how you relate Hopscotch to life. I love the picture and I can't believe you did this, yet I'm looking at it. Very nice! Congratulations for going above and beyond for Christopher's contest. Great entry!

    OKay so the name drew me in and then my mouth dropped, totally outside the box Rubie! You gave me such a smile with your comment earlier. I've been working on a short novel and its finally finished and I can start souping again soon. Okay so Im lying~ but itd be so awesome if it was true!
