He studies its features, detecting any quality
which makes the piece distinct:
anomalies, birthmarks, beauty spots
which enrich and have never marred

those i’s so small, irregular
the intent too sharp for dulled minds
and long, unleashed lines that dare to spill themselves beyond the bite of measures

each must be eradicated, terminated

Run poet from the pretension, oppression,
degradation and soul-castration for
Aryan poetry is an atrocity to the process and precision of art
proclaiming harmony, rhapsody, prosody
but delivering nothing more and nothing less than repression

Now, pray for the word

for the word shivers in its camp
shrunken and shaved, discounted

He would strip the word of connotation, mystery
break down the intricate layers of complexity
denies all: validity, life, authenticity
censures even a hint of originality

and so phantasmagoric is replaced by ghostly
for it does not fit, flits with a will of its own

agony is punished, changed to pain
angelic becomes merely good
cacophony reduced to noise

spaces are filled with little soldiers
wearing silly hats, goose steps
O me, O my,
Hie, Hie, Ho, Ho, Ho, Hitler

Verbs and nouns gasp, betrayed
then wreathe, beseechingly,
while adjectives whimper in growing piles

the word, dehumanized,
lies as still as a fossil yet to be found, a verse decayed
lies like a page, unread, bled dry
lies like a dictator
lies like vanity

in the guise of teacher

Ha ha!(<------ that is a light-hearted, good "Ha ha!"). A SOUPER dissertation here! Well done. Aren't these Nazi poems fun to write!? Anyway, I feel good after venting these types of poems that highlight a Fascist viewpoint towards writing. The word shivering in a camp is a cool way to personalize another angle of that theme.
