Hanging On

Dancing in the memories

Lusting through the past

The feelings lived a life time

But life times never last

The ecstasy survived

It held on through all this

going back a page

To another day of bliss

Flipping through occasions

Tasting loves old taste

Touching heated skin

never knowing haste

Whispers in the wind

Bend your ear again

Lending you a time

When lovers earned their name

A smile turns your lips

A blush lays on your cheeks

A distant place is close

It lets your knees go weak

Though time has found a way

To leave these moments be

These moments became memories

And those belong with me

An exquisite write on past memories; I could read this over and over as it resonates so beautifully. Makes me wonder why it didn't last but maybe you can write a part two andanswer the questin there. Love, Elizabeth
