Eternal Salvation

Eternal Salvation is a lamp that burneth
With fire
To be Saved or rescued is everyone’s
Yearning desire
When one set’s toward the brightness
as a destination.
The beam of light is the
Eternal Salvation.

I love this poem, Cassandra, the beam of light from above is absolutely the eternal salvation, however, some are blind to it. But I always step towards the brightness. You have penned your faith well. I thank you for your comment on my poem, So Quietly, Beautiful, my poem on the painting by Pietro Rotari, which hangs in the National Gallery of Canada. I love art and poetry, and I try to combine the two. I find endles inspiration just walking the art gallery, pen and paper in hand............
