I have a doohickey
It sits by my door,
But I haven’t figured
What I’d use it for.

I’ve had it since last year.
Mom gave it to me-
She said it’s a good one,
I’ll just wait and see.

My gizmos are handy,
My doodads work great,
But this old doohickey
Must be out of date.

I’ve dusted it off
And cleaned it real good.
It shines nice and bright,
Like doohickeys should.

I really don’t want it-
It takes too much space.
I wish I could put it
In some other place.

Sometimes it’s admired
By my brother Jim
So I’ll be generous
And give it to him!

I haven't heard that word since I kicked the slats out of my cradle. You have a way with words, this was also a lot of fun. Are you sure you are not related to jack?

Jack and I are somehow related-haven't figured it out yet-especially since he's from the North Pole;)
