Oh, Carrie, what a truly emotional yet well written poem. As we approach the mark of ten years since this horror, it feels like the world is holding its breath, worried at what may happen. God Bless New York and the USA- from a Canadian who wishes the world would find a way to live in peace, and that hatred become a term we need to look up in a dictionary... Hugs Cyndi. PS. This is a top winning poem, if I've ever seen one!
