dark storms and blue rain

dark storms are forming
with strange blue rain
a planet turning in wars
creatures are coming
taking our eyes
and stealing our money
becoming a soldier
creating a weapon
make it with dreams, the future
and leopards
battles begun
making me leader
cities are ruins
walking with cheetah's
a planet to protect
with creatures becoming
looking to see them
bigger than houses and smaller
than beavers
looking like streams
aligning our planets
blue rains ending
awaiting in dreams
a sun and a leader
with glory and brains

A most compelling piece, Ernestine! Vivid imagery and language, and your last four lines? PERFECT!! Best wishes, Keith

this is great, a poem about peace with a twist i loved it and our planet is in turmoil because of us. i loved the ending line i like to think about it as a son and a leader though. i really enjoyed reading this today. Jo
