Break of Dawn

Dawn is broken.
As it offers a golden token.
In spite of the colors it bleeds.
A work of art conceives.

Storm clouds congregate.
Dour in the mournful state.
Winds caress and console.
Brushed away the beauty stole.

The canvas cradles the sun.
Till the day is done.
Spectral vapors dance in the wane.
Mona Lisa skies won’t complain.

For the moon will rise.
With stardust in her eyes.
As darkness takes a stand.
Like a vastness will expand.

Crooning a sweet lullabye.
Twinkled fireflies in ebony sky.
Cradling a broken dawn.
As infinite marches on.
