Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton, the 42nd President,
was quite the musical, White House resident.
He would play a mean saxophone,
while Monica skillfully blew the trombone.

What a creative write! I love it. Your win is definitely deserved. Anyone who can 'zing' a former president in such a creative way, gets my attention. Excellent Job. Keep writing and I'll keep reading.....................S.Ronthorpe

I wrote a few on the Clintons a few years back - Hilary Clinton, very cunning For the President she’s running Then she let her husband speak Her ratings fell more week to week When Bill was still the President He thought all girls were heaven sent When Monica showed that stained blue dress The jig was up – you know the rest

Oh yes, brilliant Chris, these guys want all the power and the hoary glory. lead by example, someone said well i've tried, but not very good with wind instruments. p.s what did sylvia say?, its not on here.

Chris....HR bill number 10299 prohibits inflammatory poems written about ex Presidents. You are in violation of YET another American law..good thing you didn't throw in the navy blue dress. Then you'd really be up a river without a paddle. Congrats on your political write...I would enter this one in Dane Anne's Politically Correct contest I don't know WHO THAT pic is? Is it YOU?...u love to keep me wonderin'. ha ha. Gwendolen

Oh, this is AWESOME, Chris. Clinton wasn't my favorite president, by my late father liked him because they both played the sax. At Dad's age back then, I doubt the "trombone" was a factor. Best wishes in the clerihew contest, Chris. My jars poem was just a silly verse; didn't expect it to place. Love, Carolyn
