at the pawn shop

Down at the pawn shop
A mile from the mall,
Sally got five bucks
For an old doll;
Johnny sold his Frisbee—
He only got a dime;
Benny sold his baseball,
And he got nine,
Nineteen cents;
Less than what he paid,
Less than what he spent.
But here at the pawn shop,
Selling is a chore—
Sell your stuff on Ebay
If you want more.

    I quite enjoyed this modern day piece. You can try to sell on Amazon too, where it's not as painful. :) Nicely done!

    Ebay is a great place to find buyers of just about anything. However, their fees are a bit exorbitant. This was a very entertaining write.
