And I Failed Yet Again

For the past month
bottle after bottle
e and I've failed.

Consumed with the hunger
for more and
more and I haven't been
since i woke from
the coma.

The beer has given me free
and fat... oh, how I've grown around the waist
brain areas!

My short term memory
is shot
but alas I remember the bottle
when my hands shake
i remember the bottle
when my stomach aches
i remember
i drink
i die awake a little more

I'm still alive
alcoholism is wrong!
It's to slow for the
suicide case.

Remember Joseph "Stay Strong inside for those you love always. That truly is all thats real in this life - Everything else is just an illusion that changes with the hands of time.

Joseph - It was truly a blessing to hear from you I was starting to worry - You sure hit the nail on the head with your comment - I know exactly what it's like bro- I'm doing a private project now putting all my books into one "Collectors" edition just for family and friends for Christmas and I've started a Novel that I'm proud to say is coming along very well

I know all too well of the subject here, I have a loved one who has this disease, and it is very sad and frustrating to watch. I hope the one of whom this is written can release the bottle soon, as it really is a slow death/suicide mission. Well said, with love, Kristin
