Abstract Art Turns Me On

With each brazen stroke confusion in colors of euphony shine I dip beneath the song of understanding where mellifluous words fill thy mind of time upon this dismal canvas of white clouded dream splashing strokes and vivid color crash in my belief without understanding a mere inkling pulls you close to create a slight vision where your spirit shall roam far beyond the realm of breath and sight my intricate simplicity shall grab your minds eye come close, come close my dear friend of endless questions let thy fence of unknowing no longer hold your mind With each brazen stroke confusion in colors of euphony shine alone, you and I together we shall dine.......... __________________________________________________ Contest ~ "What Turns You On"

Dear Rick, I think this is an awesome poem. You had my head spinning with "splashing strokes and vivid color crash." I do like some abstract art -- Van Gogh is a bit abstract at times, but yes, I generally prefer realists like Andrew Wyeth. Best wishes in the contest! Love, Carolyn
