It begins simply
I smile at the store clerk
She smiles back and is very helpful
Mrs Smith is next in line
Feeling good after the clerk packs her groceries,
She takes her dog for a walk
After getting home
The Jones twins are cheered up when they are
Allowed to pet the dog
And when these children get home
They draw a picture for mommy
Who likes it so much she puts it on the refrigerator
Then daddy comes home after a tough day at the office
Hears the stories, sees the picture
And after supper plays with the twins on the trampoline
Then a bath and a story, the twins go fast asleep

This Ripple In Time
Was brought to you
By a smile

Smiling is contagious. I loved how you captured "the ripple effect"... the first entry for the contest, I've read, that captured that. This whole poem was very eventful and there was a sense of rightness in it... adore this message, at how a little bit of kindness goes a long way!
