A Quickie

The bubble's spell, to roil, to warn, then slide away.
Swept off my feet and in I fell,
In undertow, beguiled, enslaved.
The foaming rip of tides betray
The magic bubble's spell.

very good take on that theme picture. I am getting a kick out of the fact that some people simply did funny poems on quickies and placed high. wish I had known that it was not important to be inspired by the picture! oh and congrats to you.

this was a really cool quickie poem. Did that contest ever get judged anyway? I can't even remember any more. I have a few soupmails for ya and just want to say one more thing on that poetry form!

Excellent, Craig, you cinched the prompt as usual. Good reading.
