a place man will never find

downy skypuddles filled with rising rain
now sit strewn across the empyrean ground
looking through the muddled mirror of terra firma

mudsodden clouds flush with nebulous mire
float idly in the sticks of the boggy blue yonder
staring through the other side of the looking glass

pellucid pearls of sunsweat dew freckle
the abounding brush with a morning mizzle,
sheathing the spring-fresh blades of grass

wisps of dank fog rushes through the lea
like a storms gale whistling through the trees,
splintering into a web of beclouded haze

the halcyon meadow quiescently sleeps under
a bedewed blanket of efflorescent verdure,
protecting it from the gentle falls of dandelion snow
