A Lover In a Mask

Her cheeks were stained of roses, Her hair like golden wheat Although boys thought her beautiful, She was anything but sweet His words as smooth as silk, His lips a sweet temptation Though there was nothing sweet behind his face, But cruel manipulation Both lovers hid behind a mask, Their eyes both seem serene But something both of them found out, Is no one's who they seem.
