I was born in a small city, (Bathurst) New Brunswick, Canada, the third eldest of thirteen children, ten girls and three boys. I’m the product of a semi-dysfunctional family, brought up by a physically controlling father, versus a loving nurturing mother. Many of my poems reflect the uniqueness and special circumstances of my upbringing and love of nature.

Emile, thanks for the inspiration and the wonderful form to work with, and thank you so much for my great placement, I am thrilled that you liked my poem, it was a deep one for sure, someone asked me once "how long will you grieve your mothers death", my answer was "till my last breath" and congratulations to all the winners _Constance
