Hindsight gives you an unobstructed view;
you see things that were once invisible
as hidden truths are rendered visible.
You can't change anything, only review;
yesterday's impossible to undo,
a minted coin is not divisible.
Your heart has been broken so many times;
stop looking back and focus on the now,
get over it; you'll get through this somehow.
Today, you can't tell the wind from the chimes;
tears start to drop, and anxiety climbs,
summoning all the strength hope will allow.
But tomorrow offers a brand new day;
another chance for love to come your way.
