Make Room For Hope

In my heart, I make room for hope,
for it gives me the strength to cope.
I keep it nestled next to love,
gifted to me by God above.
Like faith, it's tethered to my soul,
where together they make me whole.
Hope, love, and blind faith are unique
to humanity; so to speak.
They're the pillars of empathy,
integrity and honesty.
Principles integral to me;
defining who I wish to be.
As a feeling, sentient being,
believing doesn't require seeing.
Fueled by hope, my faith is strong,
as my conscience sorts right from wrong.
An ethereal emotion,
love is like a healing lotion.
From shattered dreams to broken hearts,
love repairs all the damaged parts.
