Time Is Running Out

Right and wrong are basic concepts, and like night and day, it's clear what sets them apart. Fight or flight warps my vision and clouds my sight when I stop listening to my heart. My world is changing so negatively; I am scared of what tomorrow may bring. Sky-high prices fuel inflation, while sly grifters promote bitcoins, memes, and bling. Folks are tethered to smartphones that act like yokes around their necks, keeping them in line. Hoax or not, climate change is happening; oaks and elms are dying, replaced by pine. Crime and anxiety are starting to climb, and everyone's filled with dread and fear. I'm afraid the world is primed for war, and time is fast running out; that much seems clear.

Thanks, Darlene; I'm scared too. The world has once again embraced the far right political "nazism " and " fascism" ideology. I appreciate your comments, my friend. Emile.

Thanks, Ink; the world has changed, and not in a good way. I am 76, and to tell you the truth, I am glad I won't be around much longer to witness this madness. I appreciate your comments, my friend. Emile.

Unfortunately these issues are global Emile, its scary how a couple of big mouths are calling the shots and everyone is suffering with the current economic climate and it certainly isn't making america great again - totally the opposite. I hate to see the news and see what the oranges orangutan is plotting next and fear for the folk of Greenland who are his latest target. so glad Canada is fighting back with its own tariffs, but where will it end:-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks, Jan; I never thought I'd live to see the world once again embrace the far right political "nazism " and " fascism" ideology. I appreciate your comments, my friend. Emile.

You 've made excellent points, Emile. It's a situation where everything and many people are in turmoil over so many issues. There's no longer something called 'the simple life.' Even standing by and watching affects everyone in one sad way or another. Greedy fools hold too much power.
