In the shadow of sunlight, darkness reigns;
and ebony pools into shifting shapes.
Color gets absorbed; only black remains;
imprisoned by shadows, no light escapes.
Shadows require the light of the sun,
never underestimating its might.
Yet, dark devourers shadows, leaving none;
absorbing shadows untethered from light.
Without the light, darkness cannot exist;
for light is juxtaposed against the dark.
Light and dark are destined to coexist;
darkness fears shadows, so light strikes a spark.
Stand in the light, and you'll fuel a shadow
that will follow you wherever you go.
