As a spent-sun sets ebony shadows merge with silhouettes; penciled in the rough by a charcoal dusk. A chilled, brisk breeze makes me shudder; for I feel its breath on my face. A loan wolf and cricket haunt the night; and the air smells sweet!

Dear emile, this is absolutely gorgeous, i love sunsets and how youv described the environment is beyond stunning and soul warming! I especially love the lines “ penciled in the rough by a charcoal dusk.” how artistic! And the ending flows so well too! This is one of the best iv read for this contest so far. Its beyond gorgeous!
