I loved to stargaze on a warm Summer's night Living in a country village as a boy The twinkling stars appeared amazingly bright Providing hours of imaginative joy A splendorous, almost spiritual sight Which kids in cities never got to enjoy And many have yet to see a starry sky But I hope they get the chance before they die Imagine billions of stars scattered above, Like sparkling diamonds set on infinite black Away from the city's grinding push and shove Picture yourself lying down flat on your back Beholding creation, basking in God's love Silently listening to Nature's soundtrack Feeling connected, as a part of it all Looking up in awe, watching shooting stars fall

So smooth and melodious! My eyes and minds practically slide across each phrase... like a shooting star! No friction to slow it down or trip you up. Beautiful sentiments! Xo

The city dweller, might well imagine, as your imagery sets their minds on what their eyes have never seen. Congrats, Emile, on 3rd place win!

This is absolutely gorgeous dear emile, i loved reading you today, as a stargazer that never gets tired of starry nights i resonated with your well articulated lines and rhymes! Stunning picture to go with it too. I agree it is truly a pity for anyone that doesn’t get the chance to experience starry nights or to stargaze. Natures soundtrack is the best for the soul. Pleasure reading this gem! Congratulations also on your win in brians contest. Sending you light always
