This site is so crazy positive; I am in awe! - Caren Krutsinger's Blog

I have never seen such a group of upbeat,positive people in my life. I am completely awed by the lot of you, and I have been around many people because I successfully eliminated 37 jobs that were not for me before I finally settled on something that was my cup of tea, that I love to do.  Yes, folks, it is possible to quit a job before noon or the paperwork is done, and I was living proof for the first twenty-five years or so of my working life that it's best to release the employer and let them know "you deserve someone who will love this job, and it's simply not me."  When I latched onto Poetry Soup, I felt like a trailblazer, a risk taker of the most daring kind.  I see now that God had a plan based in omniscent knowing that it was time for me to get back to my writing. I cautiously mentioned to my husband that I'd put a few things on Poetry Soup, and held my breath, and my husband came running in fifteen minutes later to say "I love your paintings, but your writing. It's the greatest thing you ever do." I was shocked, because I know he loves my paintings. I've been on this site for a very short time, but it's got me excited and enthusiastic, and it may be the drugs talking right now because I do not do well on drugs and I'm not sleeping. (Antibiotics, and an inhaler for a very bad wheezy cough that exacerbates my asthma so hard, I'm having deep pains in my kidneys to try to breathe). Anyway, I want to say you are so loving, and kind, and your friendship means so very much. I'm overwhelmed with love and goodness for you all. If you don't see new poems for the next few days, know that these medicines may have simply started to work, especially the Coedine which is supposed to help me sleep.
