Seasons Change

Warming fervid heat sun glistens on glorious greenery Summer Cooling gentle winds showering leaves down from trees, colorful Autumn Resting earth lies still all nature sleeps through bitter, barren, bleak Winter Burst of energy bright colors bloom earth suddenly alive with Spring Seasons changeable unlike people minds stuck, stalled, unyielding Stubborn Wish we could shed leaves or come alive effortlessly like the Seasons

This is such an artful metaphor on the importance of change and rebirth, wonderful allegory to link it to the seasons, enjoyed this!

Being an avid changeling myself, I am not able to relate in that way, however, as a detective and spy of the best kind, I recognise this mind-stuck-stubborness in others. Wait! It's me! I am also there in some instances. Anyway, Rhona, your poem about being stubborn is so wittily written, it is stealthily sneaking up and making me do the happy dance. Your poems AMAZE me, with ZING my friend. A FAV for me, going straight to my list. I love it!

Hahahaha- my muse was sneaky with this one... I actually had planned for that last part to be "wish they/ could shed leaves...", when I suddenly realized that I AM that stubborn person sometimes!! ;D It made me smile that it hit you that way, too!
