Friendship

Above the tempest of a storm; defies a raging gale. Lifts beyond the highest peak; in life’s ocean is the sail. Stronger than the weight of steel; the core with-in a soul. Flowing through the darkest days; a non-demanding role. ‘Tis magnets in the human mind that sticks when you’re alone. Friendship is the true foundation in life’s corner stone.

G'day Sir. A very insightful poem, Lindsay. didn't know you had a serious streak in ya - ha! My kind of write especially during this time of grieving for Vera. I've had many friends like you who have been a great support. Glad you liked the blackberry pickin' write but better stay out of those rivers - I under stand Aussie crocs find people flesh to be very desirable! - Bob

G'day Bob … from so far away, it's a bit difficult to give you support that I would like to, however I'm pleased to read you do have great support. Blackberries in the scrub are my favoured fruit of all and crocs are no problem - they're 2000 miles away, but tiger snakes are a different story - thanks Mate - Lindsay

I know I'd never have got through the last 4 years without the support of friends - family have not been there for me especially when my hubby had his cancer surgery and dad wouldn't let me tell mum:-( hugs Jan xx
