The Heart

I once had a heart of stone
When I was sad and all alone
It was the only one I thought I would own

Now I have a heart of gold
A new love I have given it to hold
It was in my future, that’s what I was told

Now
I am bold
Hot not cold
Young not old

The heart is alive
A tribute to the
Will to survive
