A Tribute to my dearest poetry friend - Shadow Hamilton's Blog

Fellow Poets ever meet someone who has an enormous impact on your life? This happened to me when I met a young poet in Poetry Corner.
He has always been so very kind and helpful in fact if it wasn't for him encouraging and pushing me I would be still only writing free verse.
He encouraged my feeble attempts at rhyme which I back then found so hard. He told me the more I write in it the easier it would get and guess what, he is right.
He also very gently pointed out that it is better to write words in full and not use u, ur etc.
His poems are a wonder and so inspiring to others. This gentle poet always helps and encourages new poets and I bless the day he took me under his wing.
I am talking about my truest poetry friend and guide and mentor M.M as he is known to me. This friend I can never fully repay for all he has done for and given me so I ask you all to hold up your glasses and give him a toast
 M.M you are the best poetry friend I have, my heart swells when I read your magical poems.
I know you will be and are a leading light in the poetry field and that your words will far out live us all.
To my dearest M.M with blessing from Pax, Serona and Mut long may your pen live
