Summer At Last

wistfil thoughts of long gone days
At last the gentle breeze of summer wafting captivating scents
they set one on fire teasing and tantalising as they drift past.
Bees murmuring quietly as they collect nectar for their queen
whilst butterflies flit from flower to flower beating their wings.
Once more my heart is filled to capacity by the romance
and feeling that flood in with memories of younger days.
These times were full of such light hearted memories
when nothing seemed to matter besides so young love.
One drifted away in sun filled meadows filled with flowers
maybe beside a picnic or gentle murmuring bubbly streams
Oh the passion of then with young quickening red hot blood
that seemed to zing buzz and pulsate with youth's day dreams.
