Winter Bubbles

When the temperature drops,
When it gets REALLY REALLY cold,
Being inside all day can be such a bore.
So what about braving the cold!

Bundle up VERY VERRY warm,
And send a lot of bubbles soaring up high.
Pop them or let them fall to the ground.
You'll be amaze at what you'll see.
Winter bubbles are not the same
As the ones you blow in summertime.
"WHAT?" You say.
I guarantee you'll be surprised.
A breathtaking magical sight to behold.

Recipe for homemade bubble solutions:
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup dish washing soap
1 teaspoon sugar
Combine together, stirring until sugar dissolves.

The kitchen is full of creative nifty wands:
slotted spoons, wire whisks or funnels too.
Kids ask your parents first before you begin.

Now just dip your wands into the bubbly solution,
And blow, creating a fairytale world of your own.

This sounds like so much fun. We blow bubbles here all the time and they are carried on the wind in wonderful motion. It is not cold enough here to see what you mean. I loved your story. Mahalo, Connie I am actually a Constance, but go by Connie. How about you?

This is a wonderful story, and I have tried it before...the bubbles freeze and stay that way longer that in the summer ones! I really enjoyed reading this lovely poem this evening! What a superior piece, Great Work!!
