Flowers of Poverty

The time of presence has come
Green backs filling Cadillac’s
Paying the voices to be heard
While poverty still lives in poverty
And has poverty over for company
Drinking the last drops of poverty
Letting it go in a falling tear
Moisten the ground
Under the beautiful flowers grow

Matthew, it's got to be the growing that keeps the poverty alive. This is very deep, Paying the voices to be heard. Always Linda
