Use of apostrophe in poem title

I've noticed that the PS software sometimes allows and at other times prohibits use of apostrophe in poem titles. This should be fixed, allowing its use, in my view. For example, I just wrote a poem titled 'Within God's womb' which I had to wrongly title as Gods instead of God's. Annoying.

Request PS admin to look into this please.

Seeker, got to read this as I was just giving a quick read of all the blogs... Yes, I agree with you... It's annoying sometimes when some of our poem titles look meaningless without those punctuation marks discussed below... I hope Soup rectifies this issue... God bless... ~ Ani

The example you have cited, definitely needs an apostrophe. I wonder why the word 'queer' is always prohibited

My newest poem title had its posted characters assassinated, the carnage survivors were Aa to Zz 1 to Infinity - , Eureka's;: I'm clueless as to its reasoning why???

If you want to see ‘dumb’ in action… type in your title that needs an apostrophe but don’t put the apostrophe in. Soup will obligingly put the apostrophe in for you… AND THEN TELL YOU YOU CANT HAVE IT!

I just edited title of one of my poems (Autumn - Constanza) and inserted apostrophe to see if it still works. And it does-- after update, it showed up as Autumn's - Constanza. I changed it back, of course. Mystery!

I was only referring to apostrophe issue posted by Seeker. Try adding apostrophe after EDIT--see if it works for you.

I hit the"Edit" link and tried adding "?" at the end of my poem titled "Would You Still Love Me." No dice! Go figure, lol.

Add brackets to that list too. I tried Vijay's fix but all I got was the usual message of: "Don't Use Special Characters Only letters, numbers, dashes, commas, apostrophes and colons are allowed in the title." (it does say apostrophes but judging by Unseeking's comments this isn't always the case) There must be a technical reason for it but it's beyond my knowledge and knowhow. Cheers - Gary

It's not just the apostrophe but things like question marks and I believe colon too. These marks are also very vital to certain poems and I can't understand why they are disallowed. I have tried Vijay's EDIT fix, but it does not always work for me.

Let me recommend a quick fix that works for me: Click EDIT, then change your title the way you want, click UPDATE and you will see it works. Of course, it should work the first time when you post it--but this is a way around.

Oh, I hear you, Seeker! A few more "annoying" things need fixing as well. Not being allowed to include a question mark at the end of a poem title gets my goat more than anything. I know for sure I used to see it on poems about six years ago, but it was done away with. Why?
