You paint the skies with indigo delight Whisper silence into the vibrant dawn Capture the hues of wonderful insight Inspirations of hope to which I’m drawn You breathe life into the music with joy Fill moments with promises of kindness Assure hearts that anguish you will destroy Expose that bitterness causes blindness You light up the night with stars shimmering Seeking out souls to awaken with love Blushing hearts tender so they’re glimmering With faith that comforts and comes from above You are the One who makes my life worthwhile You send hope, faith and love with a soft smile Winds of change -SONNET Poetry Contest Sponsored by: John Hamilton November 16, 2020

Gina, what a tender love poem to our God - "painting skies," "breathing life," "light up the night." Line after line is wonderfully created. Congratulations on your win dear friend! Sending you blessings of the season.
