The Sounds of Bliss

Your sigh is like the whisper of the wind. How sweet its susurration in my ear. I lie beneath your slender body pinned with tenderness! You utter words sincere. A river I’ve become because I feel a flow of pleasure overtaking me as all my inhibitions you now steal. And like the brook nearby that I can see, I’m feeling warm waves coursing through me too. I murmur as I ripple with delight! As sultrily you do those things you do, we breathe more quickly, and our hearts take flight. Low moans . . . the gasp! Was it yours or mine? It matter not when bliss is this divine. April 30, 2021 For the Writing Prompt - Breathe - Poetry Contest Sponsor: Constance La France
